My name is Attila and I live in Coburg, a town in the northern part of Bavaria. My name comes from Hungary, there it is very popular, like Thomas or Christian in Germany.
I'm born here in Germany, but my parents are from Subotica in Yugoslavia. They moved in the 70's to Germany. Subotica is one of the biggest cities in northern Serbia, right after Novi Sad. It is about 20km away from the border to Hungary and about 40km to Romania. Most of the people in this region are citizen of Serbia, but their origin is mostly Hungary, so most of the people there are talking hungarian, also my family. That's the reason why I am serbian citizen but not able to talk a word in this language. My parents have only teached me hungarian when I was young. I only speak hungarian when we are there for a visit. Here in Germany I don't talk hungarian, therefore i've forgot a lot of this language. But it's enough for (very) simple conversation.
My schoollife started in 1985 and ended in October 2003 with sucsessfull studying of "Businnes Management" at the Fachhochschule Coburg. After studying I went to the military for one year in "Dillingen an der Donau".
During my study I've made my Amateur-Radio license for national novice class "3" in Februar 1999, and upgraded to the biggest license, class 1 (now "A") in July 2000. That's why my Internet-Domain is "www.dl1nux.de". DL1NUX is my callsign on Amateur-Radio. This hobby fullfills most of my sparetime. Other hobbies are Computers and Geocaching.
In 2005 I started a small amateur related company with selling antenna parts and kits for radio amateurs. From May 2010 this got my main job together with IT services in my region.
I got married in July 2009 with my wife Arabella. In April 2011 our son Aron was born.
